		<description>I remember reading long ago (perhaps in Scientific American) that a cat can fall from something like 7 stories high and land without injury, but if they jump from something less than that--perhaps 3-4 floors up--they will sustain injuries. There were photos included that showed that given enough time, they could twist their bodies into the correct position to land okay, but if they didn&#039;t have enough time (from the lesser height), they wouldn&#039;t have time to land well. Don&#039;t quote me on the numbers (and don&#039;t try this at home!), but the point was as I described.
